Its been a hectic Q2 for the Essilor team with lots going on in every area of the business. Following successful launches in Q1 of Visioffice X, Vision-R 800 and Eyezen Start we are now starting to see a significant ramp up in activity with these products. Thanks in particular go to the early adopters which are invaluable to help us get off to a successful start.
We have experienced some issues with our e-Store platform, which lead to some issues ordering products for our customers through Q2 . Whilst these things can happen we do expect this disruption to have eased and expect an improved service going forward.
We're now into Q3 and have some exciting commercial activity to look forward to. Our ongoing BVS promotion has recently been boosted with an increase in discount for the 2nd pair, boosted to 60% for customers who are using Varilux POS in practice - this is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Varilux lenses. More communication will be sent out shortly about this exciting new offer.
Additionally we launched Varilux Physio 3.0 on 8th July, the first innovation in the Varilux Classics range for some time and finally have implemented an important alignment of our Transitions RX pricing which should ease the sell out of this product for our partner ECPs to their customer base.
Finally, we will be running some roadshows to showcase our new innovations during September. We hope to see many of our loyal customers at these events.
