Comprehensive measurements

8 in 1 wave analyser measurements
The Wave Analyzer provides a comprehensive screening of the eye in less than 2 minutes
  • Improved tonometry using fixation point & IOP value automatically corrected according to corneal thickness
  • Placido rings topography helps analyze over 100,000 points of cornea and provide Keratoconus probability index
  • Provides a detailed view of the crystal lens opacity which is helpful for identifying cataracts.
  • Individual autorefractometer & pupil measurement for mesopic, photopic conditions and near vision
  • Real time evaluation of the patient’s eye fatigue when focusing on near by objects
  • Topography and pupillometry for contact lens fitting and keratoconus detection

Benefits for your practice and patients

The Wave Analyzer Medica 800 allows you to demonstrate how much of the patients’ vision can be optimised. As well as carrying out important screening for glaucoma, keratoconus and cataracts, it’s also possible to show the difference in day and night vision.

The wavefront technology means you have the ability to provide acuity simulation and give a better understanding of patients’ vision. You can also offer real time evaluation of the patient’s eye fatigue.

The Wave Analyzer Medica 800 provides a fully automatic solution for complete analysis and vision need assessment. This kind of insight is invaluable to delivering the best possible patient care, boosting customer experience within your practice.

The Wave Analyzer in action

The Wave Analyzer can show the difference of a patient’s day and night vision. In practice you scientifically highlight this sensitivity with different functions.

Simulation

When using the Point Spread Function (PSF) method you can show the different impact of a point on the retina between day and night.

Summary

The summary gives the overall measurements for the patient. Here you can see the difference in pupil size from day to night and specific refraction needs.

Coefficient Aberration

The Low Order Aberration (LOA) column demonstrates the impact of glare on a patient. The bigger the difference in the columns the more glare a patient will experience.

"It’s so quick and delivers so much information, the spectacle Rx is astonishingly accurate usually
just a little adjustment for perfection.

The pressure test is quick and having all of that information delivered in just under 2 minutes at a distance of
over 1 metre is a huge help in both keeping the patients and staff safe."
