HD vision is powered by Wavefront Management technology and Point by Point twinning. Standard single vision lenses allow individual light rays to pass into the pupil. Wavefront Management technology bends light into an entire beam of light rather than individual rays. This removes lens aberrations and gives the wearer sharper vision needed for driving.

Point-by-Point Twinning™

 

Point-by-Point Twinning is an innovative process for perfectly calculating and manufacturing the front and back surfaces over the entire lens. This ensures the same level of performance regardless of combinations of sphere, cylinders and axis. Essilor Road Pilot lenses are manufactured through advanced Digital Surfacing, using a diamond-tipped surfacing tool follows the calculation to an incredible accuracy of 0.1 microns.
